Some Much Needed Relaxation

We just finished the last week of school (not for me, but for the kids and teachers) and wrapped up a very busy year. Alongside the last week of school duties, I was working on a graduation video for a neighbor. The video ended up being 45 minutes long and contains over 900 pictures. Needless to say, between the end of school, the video, and the usually work, family, and home duties, I was worn out! We attended a graduation party on Friday evening and an end of year party at a co-worker's house as well. It was great to visit with friends, to celebrate Emily's graduation and the end of another great year, but I was exhausted.

Saturday, after indoor soccer practice and our final baseball game of the season, we took a much needed nap to try to catch up. Today, we continued our much needed relaxation by spending the day relaxing in the pool. Even Megan turned down going to a movie with friends. She told her friend that she was spending the day with her family. Wow!

We ended the day with dinner at a neighbor's house. It was a great, relaxing weekend of family time and some much needed rest! I hope to have many more fun and relaxing weekends throughout the summer.
