Tonight, Connor told me that he wanted to move to the hotel that we stayed at in Hawaii last year. "Waikoloa Village?" I asked.
" Yes. I want to live there all the time. Can we move there?" said Connor.
I explained that if we moved to Hawaii, he would still have to go to school and do all of the things that he does here. It would not be like it was when we were on vacation - lounging, eating out 3 times a day, relaxing, sleeping late, enjoying the weather, miniature golf, swimming, etc.
Connor's reply ... "I know, Mom. But, after school, instead of just going home, we could go visit the volcano or something. Or, if the volcano is closed, we can just go swimming. So, can we move to Hawaii?"
I told him that I didn't think so, and the conversation ended there. It is so funny - the things that just pop into their heads at the most random times. Glad he's thinking, though!

Thats great insight into the mind of a child. Moving to Hawaii does sound good though. Now he has me thinking about it. lol.
